Review of Baker Beach

Whether you are an individual who practices a clothing optional lifestyle that has been working on ridding yourself of tan lines for years, or are simply intrigued by the notion of enjoying your freedom on the beach, you probably already understand that it can sometimes be hard to find clothing optional beaches in the United States. The good news is that while there may not be as many clothing optional beaches as some of us would like, there are still an abundance of beaches that offer the perfect backdrop for an incredible day filled with sun and an extreme lack of clothing.

For proof of this notion you do not need to look any further than Baker Beach. Baker Beach in San Francisco has become world renowned as one of the best places to lather up on sunscreen and nothing else while enjoying all of the sun that shines down onto sunny California. Better yet, not only is the beach full of fun in the sun, but it is ideally located only a short jaunt from bustling downtown San Francisco.

Just imagine laying back enjoying beautiful weather with a good book and looking up to see stunning views of the amazing Golden Gate Bridge. Can it get any better than that without having to travel for than a few minutes away from downtown? We didn’t think so.

Baker Beach is known throughout North America as being one of the hottest and most impressive naturist beaches in the world. All kinds of people gather here for a blend of relaxation and excitement and any frequenter to the beach is sure to enjoy the laid back atmosphere that surrounds them. The only drawback to this clothing optional beach is the fact that the water is not as warm as many sunbathers would like, but the sun still beats down and makes the beach the perfect place to lay out and enjoy the day. And after you have the tan you want, simply pack up and you are only a few minutes away from the big city.

If you are worried about running into clothed sunbathers or are bothered by gawkers who tend to want to get their jollies from a clothing optional beach, then all you have to do is saunter up to the Northern part of the beach. While the area is considered to be the primary locale for the alternative lifestyle community who prefer to be without clothing, it is a lot of fun and is in a spot where all interested in a no clothing environment gather and tend to keep onlookers out.

Stop into Baker Beach will you pass through San Francisco for a day trip or consider making it the focal point of your next vacation. Either way you are in for a ton of fun and even more sun.
